At BioMarker our vision is to provide interventions that will extend a healthy human lifespan by slowing the process of aging, and delaying the onset of age-related diseases.

We are using genomic and proteomic aging-intervention technologies to accomplish this, and we invite you to learn more about our efforts in the following pages.

These are the areas we are working in:

  1. NUTRACEUTICALS: HEALTH MAINTENANCE PRODUCTS
    Using our aging-intervention technologies, we are designing dietary supplements focused upon age-related health maintenance, and moving forward immediately to bring scientifically proven and clinically validated products to market.
  2. DIAGNOSTICS: PERSONALIZED HEALTH ASSESSMENT SERVICES
    Our aging-intervention biomarkers allow us to develop new risk assessment and diagnostic tools needed to provide people with personalized health-maintenance interventions.
  3. THERAPEUTICS: TREATMENTS FOR AGE-RELATED DISEASE
    As aging-intervention technology matures, our screening systems will allow us to develop pharmaceutical products targeted to a variety of age-related diseases.

The Challenge

By 2050, a quarter of all Americans will be over age 65. Lifespans have increased by forty percent in the past fifty years, and the burden of associated age-related diseases has become staggering: according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, individuals with chronic disease now account for more than 75% of all healthcare spending.

The BioMarker Solution

Research on aging is beginning to unlock the secrets underlying longevity. Our generation will be the first to benefit from scientific advances that directly extend a normal and healthy human lifespan. Currently, there are no authentic "anti-aging" pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals since the aging component is often overlooked in conventional drug development, and under-validated in dietary supplement development. However, there is a strong a gene-related component to adult-onset diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease and other diseases commonly associated with aging.

BioMarker is using genomic and proteomic technologies to develop and deliver products for prolonging a healthy human lifespan.

BioMarker Pharmaceuticals is the first company to target product development by focusing on mechanisms underlying aging and age-related diseases. We use a suite of gene and protein expression analysis technologies to design and assess aging interventions. This includes our proprietary system for the design and development of products that mimic the effects of caloric restriction – to date, the only intervention known to consistently extend lifespan and retard aging in mammals.

We are using our aging-intervention technology portfolio to push forward in three areas:

  1. In the nearest term, we are designing and evaluating dietary supplements for age-related health maintenance, and are moving forward immediately to bring products to market. By combining in vitro and animal aging-intervention evaluation with in vivo human clinical studies of traditional biomarkers of health (such as cholesterol, blood glucose, and weight measurements), we intend to be at the forefront in providing proven, scientifically and clinically validated health maintenance products;
  2. In the intermediate term, we are designing risk assessment and diagnostic tools needed to provide people with personalized health-maintenance solutions. Our nutrigenomic approach will allow us to monitor diet and gene interactions, assess and monitor individual responses to dietary supplements and other interventions, and provide personalized dietary guidelines and recommendations; and,
  3. As aging-intervention technology matures, our screening systems will allow us to develop pharmaceutical products targeted to a variety of age-related diseases, and finally, to aging itself. Our final goal is to develop effective therapeutics that will allow people to maintain a very high level of health, vitality, and wellness, far into old age.

In short, our mission is for you to live better, longer.
